Bring a Friend Program
Paid-up PACS members may bring a friend who has never been a member,
and each of you will receive a coupon good for a free lunch. You must
use the coupon that day. You may bring as many friends (who have never
been members) as you like. The more the merrier! Just stop at the
Membership Desk (near the Cafeteria) to pick up your coupons.
Flea Market
PACS holds a Flea Market in the Cafeteria, where members may offer
items for sale, barter or giveaway. One member's junk is another
member's treasure, so bring those incredibly valuable items that are
eating up your living space like Tribbles, and make a few bucks!
Here are the rules:
- All Flea Market items are sold "as is". There is no
warranty, or guarantee, expressed or implied for said items.
- PACS assumes no liability for any financial or personal
information disclosure, damages to persons, property, data files or
computer applications, which may result from installation and use of
Flea market items.
- All transactions shall be made between individuals, and shall not
encumber the organization, or the management of "The Philadelphia Area
Computer Society", nor "The Upper Moreland School District" in any way.
- All sellers must remain with their sale items in designated
areas, or assign an alternate seller, during Flea Market hours.
- Sellers must bring change, and all supplies and tools,
needed for equipment setup.
- PACS shall supply tables, access to power, and wireless
Internet connection.
- All unsold items must be removed from PACS, by the seller,
before the end of the meeting day.
- All buyers must take immediate responsibility for their
purchases, and place them in their cars or other secure facility. PACS
will assume no responsibility nor any liability for missing purchases.
